We would love to hear how you're doing too,
by leaving us a comment below)

This year in my Christmas card I didn't include the year's summary, so I thought I'd put it online for all to see. If you follow my blog, you will already know most of what has happened in our lives. One more reason why I love to blog. I can look back at everything we did this year and feel like I'm up to date with my online photo album.
( Real photo albums and scrapbooking are a different story!)

The Watfords had a great year! It seems like it went by so fast. Tim still loves his job as the Area Manager of Hertz. I love it when he holds his conference calls from home so I can hear him in action. He is great at what he does and I am always amazed at his ability to be a leader and a super boss. Most recently, Tim has kissed soda goodbye (dropped 10 lbs. in the process) and has been full of way more energy. He loves to come home from work and wrestle with the girls. As soon as they hear the garage door opening they hide from Tim and giggle until he walks in the door and searches to finds them. He's a very sweet Daddy.

Tim and I joined a co-ed indoor soccer team this year (see the previous post) and have been trying to use up all his vacation time by taking mini-trips. We have free gas and a free car through his work, so we figure we might as well use it. Our family made it camping this year, to Monterey a few times, Yosemite, up to the snow, the zoo and to lots of parks and community events. Sarah took a trip to Utah by herself to visit friends and family and for a wedding. We finished "landscaping" our backyard and have painted and re-decorated a few rooms in the house.

I love to be busy and usually have a few projects going on. My calling in church is being a counselor in the Relief Society Presidency and so I have had a blast planning enrichments and activities as well as visiting and getting to know lots of women in my ward. Tim has been wonderful to take care of the girls in the evenings. This year the only wedding I decorated was for my brother. I joined a gym in February and have loved my Turbo Kick and Piyoga classes. Every Friday I get to teach at Taylor's preschool and enjoy seeing her interact with her classmates. I took the CBEST test earlier this year so I can be a substitute teacher in case I ever need it.

Taylor is amazing. She is in her 2nd year of preschool and loves every minute of it. Most people know she is a determined child and full of personality. She has started reading and has great penmanship. For her 4th birthday she received a bike and has loved riding. She learned to swim pretty well this summer and has fun in her ballet class. Her favorite things are going to the park with her friends and doing art projects with mom. She is constantly telling me that she is organizing or decorating something. A true homemaker in training.

Kennedy just turned 2 in December and is starting to talk really well. She has a sneaky personality and loves to laugh, but only if she's in the right mood. People watching is her forte. We love her smiles and hugs. Kennedy would swing at the park all day if someone would push her. She loves animals and has an infatuation with our neighbor's cat Herman. Her newest phrase is "I love........ YOU" and she really likes to say it LOUDLY. Her hair is finally growing and is still quite curly. It is so fun to see her developing into her own personality.

That about sums up our year. We hope everyone has a great Christmas and finds time to truly enjoy the season to remember the birth and life of our Saviour Jesus Christ.

Merry Christmas!
Love,
The Watford Family

It's great to see what you guys are up to so far away.
--Good effort with the indoor soccer team, I've tried to get Coby to do SOMETHING too many times to count and have failed...but I am determined not to give up.
