Taylor's preschool put on a really cute nativity to the song "This is the Season". She was Mary for the second year in a row. She really gets into it. After the dress rehearsal (aren't those costumes great?!) she came home and told me she was pregnant. All weekend she was stuffing a doll up her shirt, practicing for the role. She informed me that she will be pregnant until the play and then baby Jesus will come out of her tummy. She cracks me up. Isn't it funny how we plan and prepare for being pregnant and a mom our whole lives? Funny side note: the little boy playing Joseph has a little crush on Taylor and so his mom and I are giggling inside during the whole performance. He was so willing to be Joseph after Taylor said she wanted to be Mary :) Sweet.
As soon as the kids were back stage undressing, Kennedy ran up and snatched baby Jesus and held him so sweetly. I'm beginning to think my kids need a baby at our house! Reader: This is not an announcement, merely an observation.
The preschoolers sang a couple of Christmas carols, including "Feliz Navidad". It's so fun to hear their little voices. I get to help teach every Friday. I love it. These kids are all members of our church and so well behaved. The teacher used to teach me Joy School growing up and is really good friends with my mom (Judy Brock). I used to think it would be fun to run my own preschool from my home. Never mind on that one. I think I'll stick to doing a mom's co-op for Kennedy first year of preschool too. Judy puts in SO much work and has way more patience than I could ever dream of having. Maybe after my kids are grown my patience will be restored?

too sweet! what cute kids. i LOVE that these are all LDS kids...it is so nice to incorporate the true meaning of Christmas into their preschool education.
I agree with the statement about you having another child. These kids of yours are ADORABLE. You need to keep making cute kids. There is quite a lack in that area in our society (or at least at my school). AND of course my Ellie needs a cousin her age!
That is so cute! Taylor is really growing up. I wish that they had a nativity scene here. But Megan would do a lot better as an animal, she can't sit still that long to be Mary.
