Please let me explain: This year was to be the year that I was not going to spend any money on Halloween. I'm not sure why, but it's not my favorite holiday. I love Fall, but Halloween is just ok to me. We were given Taylor's dog costume a couple years ago and so we borrowed Kennedy's dog costume from Aunt Ali (they have an amazing supply of costumes from over the years of 4 kids :). My amazing friends suggested that Tim and I should be dogcatchers! Cute idea, huh? We wish we could catch those dogs. So Tim dressed in one color and we made a silly name-tag stating the obvious : OFFICIAL DOG CATCHER. He brought along a crate and some nets. I started with the same intent. Once I started dressing up I thought it would be more fun to jazz it up a bit and just be a New York dog walker--note that I am indeed holding a dog leash. Yes, I had to explain my costume a lot...but I was just excited that I wasn't a witch like the last 10 years of my life.
My cousin Kelsey came to town for the weekend. Let me just say that everything is more fun when Kelsey comes to town. The girls absolutely ADORE her and Kelsey wore them out playing with them. She is an awesome aunt to her nieces and nephews in Utah, but now they have to share with us! I kept teasing her that she would be a cute polygamist wife. It's so nice to have an extra hand with the kids. We had a nice time at the temple together too!
AND, one more thing! Guess why I'm so happy?
(ps-Why does my hair look SO red in this pic??)Because my business cards came in the mail this week! YAY! Less then 2 weeks until the wedding. I am exhausted! You can email me at my new business email too :

So fun, I love a good family themed Halloween costume. And I'm all about making them. Tim is a good sport. I always have to do some serious bribing.
