Tooth Fairy visits!

Taylor came home from school on Wed with her tooth in a bag! Her first tooth! Ever since her kindergarten friends started losing their teeth she has been waiting for this day to come. It's been loose for a couple weeks now. Every day we tested it (multiple times, in fact) to see if "today would be the day". The night before we tied some floss around it and even videotaped the scene because we thought it was coming out.

But, Taylor is a bit dramatic and loves to have the attention of school friends. I think she purposely waited until she was at school to pull it. She said everyone gathered around her and cheered her on. Wow. After a couple bloody napkins she went to the school nurse for a little TLC. It cannot get any better than this for Miss Taylor.

Preparing for the Tooth Fairy

Sleeping on the tooth...waiting for the Fairy. She awoke at 6am the next day excited to tell all about the Tooth Fairy and how she almost saw her because she was "fake sleeping". Kennedy was also shocked that they never even saw Tay's pillow glow!

And just because I think this is cute. Tim taught Taylor how to write her name in "cursive" and now many school papers come home with her evidences of practice. First graders are so fun!

Taylor told me all about the Tooth Fairy visit at her piano lesson! She was so amazed that the Tooth Fairy came even when she was "fake sleeping". She kept smiling really big so I would notice her missing tooth. Too cute!

Isabella is going through the same thing right now. She has had 2 wiggly teeth for about 2 months. She is just DYING for them to fall out so the tooth fairy can come. Cute Pics!
