No Tag Backs

After looking through recent pictures and not having much else to blog about, I thought I'd get this tag out of the way. To sauce things up a bit let's call it 5 truths and a lie. You guess the lie. And yes, this means that you will have to comment on my page. Krystal, I know you like prizes, so a prize will be rewarded to the best Human polygraph. If you are reading this--you are tagged too. If you've already done this tag thing, no tag backs.

1. The most adventurous thing that I did last week was take a BELLY DANCING class at the gym. I have been a member of Gold's gym since last February and I love to try all their classes. This one was definitely the most unique. The instructor had little sarong things for us to all wear and she had bear claw tattoos (Some women brought their own sarongs with mini castanets on them and jingled the whole time). It was a nice ab workout, but I can't say it was very cardio. My favorite class is "Turbo Kick". It's like a mix of Dance and Kick boxing and it really gets me pumped up. Plus I feel much tougher, like I could punch or kick something hard if I needed to.

2. The craziest thing I have ever done is go SKYDIVING. At the time I wasn't all that scared, but looking back I wonder what was I thinking!? I had just graduated from high school and my Dad and I went skydiving together as a gift to me (and to him too, apparently!). My tandem partner was a touch feeling Aussie whom I would like to forget. I have a video as proof!

3. My most embarrassing moment was fainting in front of a huge audience. I was in my Youth Stake choir doing the Christmas Program (I think I was either a Soph or Jr) and I locked my knees. Down I went and stopped the program for a few minutes. This was at a stake center, filled to capacity, with everyone I knew. Not to mention the cute guys in the other wards of my stake. I turn red very easily as it is! Pretty sure this will top my list for life. It better.

4. I am a morning person. I love to get up and get going for the day. For some reason I get a high from getting up before my kids, making their breakfast and making sure everything is in place before I start the day with my little angels. Sometimes I forget that other people are not morning people too and I call them in the morning, only to hear a grumbled, "Heeellloo?". Oops, did I wake you Up?! Sorry."

5. Shopping is my greatest flaw. I love to shop and find great deals. I need to stop. I hate to spend money, but I am driven to find the clearance stickers. Just because it is on sale, does not mean that I need it. My friends know I'm cheap with everything else. Am I the only one who would rather buy a $10 shirt at Ross that go out to eat or see a movie? Let's prioritize here.

6. I love to makeover things. My dream job is to be a "Home Stager". Have you ever watched Designed to Sell on HGTV? Lisa LaPorta is my idol. Re-doing homes, updating a piece of furniture, painting, organizing, de-cluttering, decorating, wedding design and upgrading things (including wardrobes) is just fun! I like to make things nice that used to be ugly. For some reason it all started growing up in a messy house. I used to clean the house so I could get extra points to go play with a friend etc. Now those extra points = dollars.

I like your version of Tag and I think the lie is the fact that you are a morning person--am I right?!

Ok, so I am debating between the morning person and your most embarassing moment. It's not fair that I don't live by you anymore to know that you wake up early. But that just sounds like you. But i quickly ran these past Josh, "my cheat sheet" and he said that he doesn't remember the fainting. So since Tiffani said morning person, I will say fainting. Now I just have to hope that Josh was really paying attention to what I was saying.
But now everyone else can cheat and look at our answers, so eventually someone will get it right.

I think the lie is you fainting in front of a huge audience. I think I would have remembered that in a letter, crazy to think that was before email. Wow, our kids are going to think we are old.

I was debating between those two, also, and I decided on the fainting one, too (before I read the other comments). I hope it's true, though, because it makes an awesome story.

SARAH- ahahaha that wasn't you fainting... it was Crystal... right? I'd like to think that I know my SISTER. I also KNOW that you AREN'T a moring person, you can't wake up for like an hour, studder, stumble, start nursing, and say "I'm awake,I'm awake Hilary" soooooo maybe that's the lie!

I don't know if you've changed since college - but I distinctly remember you and Megan being NIGHT OWLS. You could stay up later than anyone I knew - long after I was anywhere near coherent, you two would still be out with the guys or up talking. Maybe things have changed? Either way, you were always hilarious. And I do remember that you like to do the makeover of everything. You are awesome with all of that! Miss you!

hmmmm i thought i could cheat by reading the comments the people you have known longer left...but they weren't any help either....so I guess SkyDiving. Your story about fainting was far to narrative to have been made up and I do think I remember you telling me that you like to get up before the girls. When will we know the answer?

Creative writing Sarah! I know it's the morning person thing. The thing that gave it away was mostly the "little angels" comment AND the fact that I know everything about you! Mike thought it might be the skydiving one, only because he can't picture dad doing that :)
