This morning I gave Kennedy her favorite task of emptying the dishwasher silverware. As soon as Taylor saw her doing this she starting freaking out! "Mom, it's no fair! Kennedy gets to do a chore and I don't!" Normally, I despise whining children...but this was music to my ears. Sweet, sweet music.
Tonight we put Taylor to bed before Kennedy, because she had a late nap. Taylor of course insists again that it's not fair. "Why does Mae get to be nocturnal and I don't !!" I am still laughing about this one.

Did she really use the word nocturnal? That is hillarious! I wish that Megan and Bryson would fight over doing chores, maybe that will come later once he is older, all they do right now is fight.

ROFLOL. Man, I love it when kids say things like that. What a grown up you suddenly have on your hands, slinging out new vocabulary and wanting to earn her keep. Just don't tell her about an allowance for a while... (:
