Time for a new dress!

Say a FAT goodbye to the outdated mouse pad that I've been looking at for 8 years! Wow. That really is a long time to be surrounded by such ugliness. Who knew that they could be re-covered...and to match my office chair and bulletin board! Remember them?

This was super easy to do! I had everything already and it took about 10 minutes. Taylor said, "You're making a new dress for the mouse pad??" Yes, yes. I think every girl needs a new dress every 8 years. Yours might be begging you for one right now if you listen close enough :)

Idea from: Unnecessary Necessities blog (thanks for the link Natalie!)

What you need:

Heat N Bond
Scrap of fabric
Iron
Scissors
Mouse Pad

What you do:
Iron scrap onto Heat N Bond paper (just follow instructions on pkg)
Then iron fabric with adhesive onto mouse pad
Trim off the extra fabric around the shape of your mouse pad

And next up: Picture Frame trays--this looks fun! So, if you get one for your birthday this year, act surprised, okay? Anyone want to do it with me?
