T day / B day / D day

We went to my Aunt Suzette's for Thanksgiving this year! It was so fun to be around lots of family and eat yummy food all day long. Tim gave us all the tour of Merced and took the kids to Castle Airforce Base where his Dad helped build many buildings.

We arrived the night of my 30th birthday to a surprise cake and movie night with the girls to see New Moon. Hello Werewolves! Thanks ladies, that was the best!! I also took my first solo ride on their motorized scooter--oh yeah!

This week in preschool the theme was cars and trucks so I had my dad come give the kids a tour of his dumptruck. The kids all sat in the front seat, some honked the horn and we watched the bed go up and down. Fun theme to plan. Can't wait till Grant gets excited about this kind of thing. Oh, and Tim had a blast making a cardboard box car for each child big enough to put over their bodies. That guy can draw! It was amazing to see him bust out each car's details. I think we had a VW van (shocker!), a lifted truck, a convertable and some other cars.

Grant is 5 months! He loves this play thing that we've borrowed from Mema while she's gone (thanks!). He sits up tall and is figuring out how to move each part and turn his body all around.

Here he is sitting up for 5 seconds. Grant isn't rolling around a ton yet, which is kinda nice! He is such a smiler and I am stopped constantly while people adore his smile. He really is a happy baby most of the time.

Jammy time in the morning. The girls love to hold him and love on him! He takes it like a champ.
